2000V Type W Magnet Crane Cable | TEBAOFLEX

Heavy-duty 2000V flexible power cable for magnet cranes, scrap handling and demanding moving-power installations. Reference configurations: 2 or 4 cores, 8 AWG to 2/0 AWG.

A 2000V Type W magnet crane cable is specified for portable power circuits that face repeated movement, impact and abrasion around lifting magnets, cranes and material-handling equipment. TEBAOFLEX develops this heavy-duty cable range around the supplied reference configuration: 2- or 4-conductor constructions from 8 AWG through 2/0 AWG, with extra-flexible copper conductors, thermoset insulation and a reinforced thermoset outer jacket.

Because magnet-crane duty is application-specific, final conductor size, core count, jacket colour, bend requirements and any compliance documentation must be confirmed against the installation, cable route and project specification before production.

Built for demanding crane and magnet applications

This configuration is intended for crane systems where cable handling, sharp-edged scrap, vibration and repeated flexing are key considerations. Typical enquiries include magnet cranes, scrap yards, foundries, cable tracks and portable power connections in heavy industrial plants. For other moving-power layouts, see our port, crane and festoon cable range.

  • Extra-flexible bare copper rope stranding as a reference conductor construction
  • Colour-coded thermoset EPDM insulation for conductor identification
  • Paper separator reference option to support stripping during installation
  • Non-wicking, non-hygroscopic filler reference option for a stable round construction
  • Double-layer, aramid-reinforced thermoset jacket reference option for demanding mechanical duty

Size and construction selection

Select conductor size from the current demand, allowable voltage drop, installed length, ambient temperature and the actual movement pattern. The supplied reference data covers 8 AWG, 6 AWG, 4 AWG, 2 AWG, 1 AWG, 1/0 AWG and 2/0 AWG sizes. 2- and 4-core options are available in the smaller-to-mid range, while larger configurations require an engineering review of diameter, mass and bending route.

Application guidance for magnet-crane duty

For severe environments, provide the route length, travel speed, bend radius, minimum temperature, exposure to scrap or oils, and the proposed cable support method. Where basket-weave grips, cable carriers or strain relief are used, their dimensions and position should be coordinated with the final cable diameter. Related choices include our port crane spreader basket cable and rubber festoon cable for different voltage and motion requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Can this cable be supplied in 2- and 4-core constructions?

The supplied reference range covers both 2- and 4-conductor constructions for selected sizes. Confirm your required circuit and conductor size so we can validate the final construction.

Is a certification included with this product page?

No certification claim is made here. Required standards, test documentation and marking must be agreed for the exact project configuration before order.

Is the featured image an exact representation of every configuration?

No. It is a TEBAOFLEX representative product photograph. Core count, colour code, diameter and sheath details vary with the final specified construction.
