SRG-K multicore silicone fiberglass cable brings several high-temperature leads into a single 600 V assembly. Each annealed tinned-copper conductor is insulated with silicone rubber and fiberglass braid; the group is covered by a black aramid-fiber braid. This differs from a single-core braided lead and from a conventional rubber-sheathed multicore power cable. TEBAOFLEX can review the conductor count, termination layout and environmental exposure for the ordered build.
SRG-K cable construction at a glance
| Layer | Documented material or form | Selection relevance |
|---|---|---|
| Conductor | Annealed tinned copper | 14 AWG uses 7 strands; 12 AWG uses 19 strands. |
| Individual core insulation | Silicone rubber plus fiberglass braid | Keeps each lead separately covered. |
| Outer covering | Black aramid-fiber braid | Textile braid; do not confuse with a solid extruded waterproof jacket. |
| Electrical / thermal class | 600 V / 200°C | Check the finished equipment and termination limits separately. |
The reference color sequence begins black, red, blue, orange, yellow, brown, then red/black stripe for core 7. State the required color code in the order; the listed stock build covers 3, 4, 5 or 7 conductors only.
Available 14 AWG and 12 AWG multicore dimensions
These approximate values help engineers compare three-core motor leads with four-, five- and seven-core transformer or control-lead arrangements. Confirm the final outside diameter on the approved drawing.
| AWG per core | Core count | Strands per core | Aramid braid thickness | Nominal outside diameter | Approx. weight, lb/1,000 ft |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|

| 14 | 4 | 7 | .030 in | .435 in (11.05 mm) | 100 |
| 14 | 5 | 7 | .030 in | .480 in (12.19 mm) | 125 |
| 14 | 7 | 7 | .030 in | .520 in (13.21 mm) | 170 |
| 12 | 3 | 19 | .030 in | .430 in (10.92 mm) | 110 |

| 12 | 7 | 19 | .030 in | .570 in (14.48 mm) | 240 |
Application: heat-exposed motor and transformer leads
SRG-K can be specified for equipment leads near motors, dry-type transformers and other electrical apparatus where a grouped, braided 600 V construction is useful. Cable routing and strain relief should preserve the braid and the minimum clearances required by the equipment manufacturer. The datasheet does not provide a continuous-flex cycle rating, installation bend radius or environmental sealing classification; obtain these before using the cable in moving, wet or chemically exposed systems.

Specify the complete lead assembly
Share conductor AWG, core count, color sequence, length, operating temperature, connector or lug details, routing and quantity. TEBAOFLEX can review alternate marking, colors or packaging against manufacturing feasibility. For a single-core option, compare the 200°C silicone hookup wire, or explore the high-temperature cable category.
Frequently asked questions
Is the outer covering silicone or fiberglass?
The individual conductors have silicone rubber and fiberglass braid. The outermost covering of this SRG-K build is black aramid braid.
Does the 200°C figure apply to the whole installed circuit?
It describes the reference cable construction. Terminal blocks, connectors, strain relief and adjacent components may have lower limits.
Are 60 cores available because the color-code chart extends to 60?
The supplied size table documents only 3, 4, 5 and 7-core builds. Other counts require engineering confirmation.
