GP 28V DC SC Single-Core Aircraft Ground Power Cable is a flexible supply cable for mobile ground power units. Its documented construction combines one 120 mm² power supply core with four 1.0 mm² control cores inside a red PUR inner sheath and a yellow abrasion-resistant PUR outer jacket.
Aircraft Ground Power Applications
This 28V DC cable is intended for flexible ground-power routing where reliable low-voltage supply, control conductors and robust handling are required. The construction is designed for mobile ground power unit use and for applications exposed to weather, oil, abrasion and repeated bending.
Construction
- Fine-stranded tinned copper conductors to IEC 60228 Class 5.
- One red 120 mm² power core plus four 1.0 mm² control cores identified in red, black, green and yellow.
- Control cores symmetrically arranged within the power supply core.
- Red PUR inner sheath and yellow PUR outer sheath with wear indicator.
