GP 400 SF DR PUR 400 Hz Aircraft Ground Power Cable is a symmetrical-flex supply cable engineered for motorized cable reels and cable-carrier systems. Its construction supports flexible movement while helping airport ground-power teams manage abrasion, oil exposure, low temperatures, and outdoor service conditions.
Applications
Use this cable in ground power units, mobile support equipment, motorized reel systems with a minimum 600 mm drum core diameter, and suitable cable carriers. Specify the final configuration against the installation route, drum geometry, duty cycle, and required power/control circuits.
Construction and Performance
- Fine-stranded bare copper conductors to IEC 60228 Class 5.
- Red PUR inner sheath, aramid supporting screen, and yellow abrasion-resistant PUR outer sheath.
- Low-capacitance insulation and layered stranding for repeated winding applications.
- Very good oil, weather, ozone, salt-water, hydrolysis, microbial, and abrasion resistance as stated in the source specification.
