(N)TSCGEWCUEUS 6/10 kV is a water-resistant medium-voltage flexible cable designed around a supplied 3 × 50 mm² phase-conductor configuration, two 25/2 mm² earth conductors and four 0.5 mm² auxiliary cores. It combines EPR-insulated power cores, semiconductive screens, an overall tinned-copper braid and PCP outer-sheath construction for defined wet-service, trailing and heavy-duty handling conditions.
The supplied configuration is intended for project power connections where electrical power, earthing and auxiliary monitoring or control circuits need to run together. Typical environments include dredgers, floating docks, pumps, pontoons, water-handling equipment and mining routes exposed to water, mud, vibration and mechanical handling. Final selection must consider the actual route, movement, water exposure, bend path and installation correction factors.

Why This Configuration Is Used in Wet-Service Routes
For wet or submerged power service, the construction brings the phase conductors, earth conductors and auxiliary circuits into one screened flexible cable. EPR insulation provides the primary dielectric layer, while semiconductive layers support electric-field control around the medium-voltage cores. In addition, the tinned-copper braid provides a flexible low-impedance bonding and screening layer around the assembly.
The tinned-copper conductor construction is selected for corrosion resistance in fresh, brackish or salt-water-exposed routes. Meanwhile, the rubber-based inner and outer sheath system is specified for water exposure and heavy mechanical handling. The cable should still be selected against the actual installation conditions; sustained tension, reeling geometry, guide rollers, water pressure and grouped-cable heat conditions must be reviewed before approval.

Environmental and Fire Behaviour
The supplied design data identifies a water-blocking GM1b inner sheath and a tough 5GM5 PCP outer sheath for wet, oil-exposed and mechanically demanding routes. It also references water, oil, ozone, ultraviolet-light, abrasion and tearing resistance for the selected sheath system. Where the project requires a specific test report, installation approval or third-party certificate, confirm the applicable scope before ordering.

Ordering and Installation Information
For a correct quotation, provide the required cable length, equipment type, route layout, expected movement, installation method, operating voltage, temperature, water exposure, drum or guide design and auxiliary-core requirement. The 200 A ampacity is a free-air reference at 30 °C and must be corrected for the final installation. TEBAOFLEX assigns the final order number, finished dimensions and production tolerances before purchase release.
FAQ
Can this cable be used in water or submerged power service?
The supplied configuration is intended for wet and submerged power-service applications such as dredgers, floating docks, pumps and pontoons. Confirm the actual water exposure, route and installation requirements before ordering.
What is the purpose of the four auxiliary cores?
The four 0.5 mm² EPR-insulated auxiliary cores are provided for monitoring, signalling or control functions alongside the medium-voltage phase conductors.
Is the stated 200 A ampacity the final design value?
No. It is a 30 °C free-air reference for the supplied configuration. Installation, grouping, water and temperature correction factors must be applied to the actual route.
Which standards apply to this cable?
The supplied design references DIN VDE 0250-813, IEC 60502-2 and IEC 60228 Class 5. Confirm the project-specific compliance or certificate requirement before purchase.
