The TXL Anti-Capillary Water-Blocked Automotive Wire is a single-core, low-voltage wire designed to help limit moisture migration through conductor strands. This moisture-resistant construction is suitable for vehicle circuits and equipment exposed to condensation, washdown, humidity or fluid contact.

TEBAOFLEX combines fine stranded tinned copper with a silica-based blocking agent to fill the spaces between individual strands. As a result, the wire helps reduce capillary fluid travel toward electrical terminations, supporting dependable circuit protection in demanding automotive and mobile-equipment applications.

How the Anti-Capillary Construction Works

Moisture can move along untreated stranded conductors and reach connectors or electronic circuits. The TXL anti-capillary design introduces a blocking material within the conductor strand bundle. Therefore, the construction helps restrict the path of water and fluids without changing the practical flexibility needed for harness routing.
