TEBAOFLEX Hybrid Coaxial Armoured Cable is a custom subsea cable solution that combines coaxial signal transmission with additional power, control, signal or optical elements inside a mechanically protected armoured construction. It is designed for marine towing, subsea equipment, offshore survey, sonar and underwater systems that require more than one transmission function in a single cable.
The hybrid cable is engineered around the connected equipment, signal impedance, electrical load, operating depth, tensile requirement, bending conditions and deployment method. Coaxial and non-coaxial elements can be arranged together with copper shielding, protective layers and preformed galvanized steel wire armour.
