GP 400 SC / QF Special Polymer 400 Hz Aircraft Ground Power Cable is a flexible single-core and quad-flex ground-power cable family for mobile ground power units, PIT systems, and reeling connections where a soft special-polymer outer sheath is preferred.
Applications
This series supports flexible installation between ground support equipment, sleeves, plugs, and reeling interfaces. The SC construction integrates control cores within a power core, while the QF construction is open stranded for multi-element layouts.
Construction and Performance
- Tinned fine-stranded copper conductors to IEC 60228 Class 5.
- Red, black, green, and yellow control-core identification with red power cores.
- Red special-polymer inner sheath and yellow special-polymer outer sheath.
- Low-capacitance insulation, cold flexibility, and stated resistance to oil, weather, salt water, hydrolysis, microbes, ozone, fuel, and abrasion.
