UL 3644 Style 1 kV 200°C Silicone Rubber Wire

1 kV / 200°C silicone rubber hook-up wire for specification-led equipment wiring. UL 3644 style reference construction uses one silver-plated copper conductor with silicone rubber insulation; stranded dimensions are shown below.

  • Voltage: 1,000 V reference
  • Temperature: 200°C variant
  • Construction: single-core, solid or stranded conductor option
  • Size examples: 30–10 AWG with listed dimensions

Send the required AWG, conductor build, temperature duty and installation drawing for a configuration-specific review.

UL 3644 style silicone rubber wire is a single-core, 1,000 V reference hook-up wire for equipment designers who need an insulation option specified up to 200°C. The source construction lists a solid or stranded silver-plated conductor under silicone rubber (SR) insulation. The table below gives self-consistent stranded dimensional examples from 30 to 10 AWG; the ordered TEBAOFLEX build, markings and tolerances must be agreed in the drawing. This page describes a style and construction, not a certification claim.

What is the 1 kV, 200°C silicone wire construction?

This is an insulated single conductor, not a multi-core cable or a jacketed assembly. The referenced 200°C variant uses silver-plated copper and an SR silicone insulation layer. A 150°C temperature variant also appears in the source, but should not be treated as interchangeable with the 200°C build. Select conductor size, solid or stranded form, insulation colour, dimensions and print legend against the actual equipment requirement.

Which AWG sizes and finished diameters are listed?

These are dimensional references from the supplied table, not a promise that every listed size is held in stock. All dimensions are in millimetres except AWG. “Strands” is the number of wires and individual strand diameter. The source table includes larger sizes, but some of those entries do not reconcile with the conductor diameter and insulation wall; request a reviewed drawing for sizes above 10 AWG instead of relying on an unverified diameter.

Where can a 200°C silicone insulated lead be considered?

A protected equipment enclosure, temperature-adjacent connection or component lead is a possible design context when the local voltage, temperature and routing match the approved cable drawing. The scene below is a conceptual illustration, not a record of an installed TEBAOFLEX cable. Check hot-spot temperature at both the wire and termination, electrical clearances, abrasion protection, chemical exposure, bend duty and the applicable equipment rules before use.

How should buyers specify the ordered wire?

Send TEBAOFLEX the required voltage and temperature designation, AWG, solid or stranded conductor, plating, insulation colour, target OD, print legend, cut or reel length, quantity and intended installation. We can assess the requested conductor and silicone-insulation configuration and return a drawing for approval. MOQ, lead time and any certification scope are confirmed separately; they are not inferred from the reference sheet.

  • Do not use this page as evidence of a UL listing or file number.
  • Do not assume flame, oil, outdoor, continuous-flex or immersion suitability without construction-specific evidence.
  • Do not apply the 10 × OD bend-radius figure to repeated motion without a separate engineering assessment.

If the required voltage is different, compare the 3 kV 200°C silicone high-voltage wire. Browse high-temperature specialty cables for additional conductor and insulation systems.

Frequently asked questions

Is UL 3644 style wire always rated to 200°C?

No. The supplied reference shows 150°C and 200°C variants. Specify the 200°C build explicitly and confirm it on the approved drawing and marking.

Is the reference wire single-core or multi-core?

It is a single insulated conductor. The dimensional table relates to stranded examples; a solid-conductor option is also listed, subject to a separate construction drawing.

Can the finished diameter be selected from AWG alone?

No. Finished diameter depends on conductor construction and insulation wall. Use the table as a starting point, then approve a size-specific drawing and tolerance.
