Coax Armoured Tow Cable 40/45/50 Ohm | TEBAOFLEX
TEBAOFLEX Coax Armoured Tow Cable is available in 39, 40, 42, 45 and 50 Ohm coaxial configurations with double-layer preformed galvanized steel wire armour for subsea towing, sonar, marine survey and offshore systems.
Coax Armoured Tow Cable for Subsea and Marine Systems
TEBAOFLEX Coax Armoured Tow Cable combines a coaxial transmission core with two layers of preformed galvanized steel wire armour. It is designed for marine towing, subsea sensors, sonar, offshore survey and underwater target systems that require controlled impedance, mechanical protection and high tensile strength.
Three configurations are available for different signal requirements: 40 Ohm, 45 Ohm and 50 Ohm coaxial armoured tow cable. Each construction uses a copper-based coaxial core, polymer insulation, a spiral copper shield, tape, sheath and double-layer galvanized steel wire armour.
Key Features
- Coaxial cable construction for controlled high-frequency signal transmission.
- Two layers of preformed galvanized steel wire armour.
- Suitable for towing, subsea and marine survey applications.
- 40 Ohm, 45 Ohm and 50 Ohm impedance options.
- High tensile strength for demanding deployment and towing loads.
- Designed for controlled bending and dynamic underwater handling.

Selection Guidance
Select the coaxial impedance according to the connected equipment and transmission system. Confirm the required signal frequency, attenuation, capacitance, voltage rating, towing load, deployment depth, bending radius, cable length and handling method before ordering.
The listed mechanical values are configuration-specific. The cable should be installed and operated within the specified working load and bending radius, with the winch, termination and towing equipment evaluated as one complete system.
