RG7OZR / RG7H1OZR Armoured EPR Medium Voltage Power Cable
TEBAOFLEX RG7OZR / RG7H1OZR is a three-core armoured medium-voltage power cable for fixed energy-distribution installations. The construction combines compact stranded copper conductors, G7 HEPR insulation, steel-wire armour and a red PVC sheath for routes that require added mechanical protection.
The RG7OZR series covers 1.8/3 kV and 3.6/6 kV classes, while RG7H1OZR covers higher 6/10 kV through 18/30 kV classes. Confirm the final voltage class, cross-section, route and protection requirements before selection.
Construction
- Conductors: Class 2 compact stranded plain copper.
- Insulation: G7 HEPR rubber compound with extruded semi-conductive layers where applicable.
- Core screen: copper tapes on individual cores for the RG7H1OZR higher-voltage construction.
- Inner sheath: extruded PVC compound that fills the spaces between cores.
- Armour: galvanized flat steel wires with helically wound tape.
- Outer sheath: red Rz-grade PVC compound.

Voltage Series Overview
| Series | Rated Voltage Uo/U | Typical Conductor Range | Average Insulation Thickness | Example 3-Core 50 mm² Current Rating in Air |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RG7OZR | 1.8/3 kV | 3 × 10 mm² to 3 × 400 mm² | 2.0 mm | 200 A |
| RG7H1OZR | 6/10 kV | 3 × 10 mm² to 3 × 400 mm² | 3.4 mm | 205 A |
| RG7H1OZR | 8.7/15 kV | 3 × 16 mm² to 3 × 300 mm² | 4.5 mm | 205 A |
| RG7H1OZR | 18/30 kV | 3 × 50 mm² to 3 × 240 mm² | 8.0 mm | 210 A |
Current ratings depend on installation conditions. In particular, ambient temperature, grouping, soil thermal resistivity and installation route affect the final design calculation.
Typical Applications
