The GP 400 SY PUR 400 Hz Aircraft Ground Power Cable is designed for permanent 400 Hz supply connections between ground power generators and cable dispensers. Its construction combines flexible bare-copper power conductors with control cores for compact power and auxiliary circuits.
Applications and Design
Use this cable in fixed aircraft ground-power distribution routes where a 400 Hz generator supplies a cable dispenser. The orange PUR outer sheath supports identification in equipment areas. Select the final cross-section and core arrangement against the approved generator, dispenser and aircraft interface.
Construction and Performance
- Bare, fine-stranded copper conductors to IEC 60228 Class 5.
- Layered core construction with black numbered control cores.
- Orange polyurethane outer sheath.
- Halogen-free material performance referenced to IEC 60754-1; flame classification referenced to UL 94 V-2.
