GP 28V DC SF Symmetrical-Flex Aircraft Ground Power Cable is an all-in-one flexible cable construction for mobile ground power units. The documented configuration combines six 40 mm² power cores with fourteen 1.0 mm² control cores, using special-polymer inner and outer sheath layers for smooth handling in restricted installation spaces.
Aircraft Ground Power Applications
This symmetrical-flex construction is intended for flexible use on ground power units where several power conductors and control circuits must be routed in one cable. It provides an alternative to separate cable runs in applications that need compact routing and controlled handling.
Construction
- Fine-stranded tinned copper conductors to IEC 60228 Class 5.
- Six 40 mm² power cores, arranged as black cores numbered 1–3 and white cores numbered 1–3.
- Fourteen 1.0 mm² black numbered control cores, optimised in layers and located centrally.
- Black special-polymer inner layer, red special-polymer inner sheath and yellow special-polymer outer sheath with wear indicator.
